Half a league....half a league....into the valley of death rode the whole nation!!

When was the last war we fought? Pakistan? Bangladesh?
Sorry guys; you would be disappointed to know that its not been that simple for our country with hostile nations and even more hostile politicians all round - we fight a proxy war day in and day out.
Its an ongoing war as the forces in India would confirm.
War against terror, internal hooliganism, political rivallry - not a moment of peace.

This has resulted in few major changes:

1. Attitude change among the citizens - they have taken it for granted and it takes very less time for events like Mumbai blast or the terror attack to slip to the 2nd and third pages of the news

2. People being taken for granted by our mighty politicians who feel they are beyond law - surprisingly most of the terror attacks are cruicialy timed near and around the elections!!! any thoughts?? I wont be surprised if we are fighting a hoax war internally - politicians sponsoring terrorist across the border to turn their political situation!! Nor isnt it eerie that everytime we fight these so called internal terrorism we threaten to take drastic steps but within few days we are back to square one!! So where is the great FIGHT!!!???
Too many grave questions with no answers at all and how does it matter - in a country with a population of 110 crores how does it matter to any big wigies if few die for their ulterior motives.

Please stop this never ending blame game - PAKISTAN being the catch word and lets all start concentrating on our internal policies and terrorists!!! If this part is taken care - no nation can be under any threat at all - that's a CHALLENGE!!!

I wonder how Bapu - the father of the nation would have reacted to all this!! JAI HIND!!

Indian Government is helpless... It HAS to do SOMETHING and earn back its credibility (if at all it remains) as there is hardly 4 months for elections... So, though PAK is responsible for the mumbai attack (as the governement and police claims from the evidences), the government is just overdoing the blame game a bit too much to deviate public's attention towards Pak so that UPA can cover-up all its faults in the mean time!

AFTER cleaning its own closet, India should either "Thalaak" Pakistan and cut ALL negotiations with it or declare war and capture PoK to clear all the terrorist camps!

Peace talks would have worked if it was 1947... But now it is time for AK47!

The YOUTH of INDIA should form a group all united and declare an EMERGENCY against all the politicians... These useless people who are ruling over us have business to play with our present and future! The entire incident again bolied down to the simple fact that the common man in INDIA has no importance...at the end of the day the politician managed to clamour all the attention playing their dirty games and its a true shame for us because the whole world is watching while we wash our dirty linen in public!
GOD HAVE MERCY ON INDIA!

Well written Diya. But all this anger and clamour seems to die down after a few days. The spirit to do something goes to sleep. What should we do to keep the spirit soaring? Some solution has to be thought of, dont you feel so?

This is truly a moment of grief for Indians. We should grieve for our fallen system that can no more understand where it failed and what it could have done. We should grieve for all time we watched the massacre like a cricket match and went back home patting our backs thinking that we have a great fighting force.

More than anything else we should grieve for our politicians who represent us (a billion of us). Who think providing sound bites like a demented teenager is really cool.

India has to begin taking itself seriously. The politicians need to seriously look at thier jobs and so should all the kaki babus who love spitting pan and sitting on top of files. Maybe a few decaded later we will look back and think of what we could have been and what we really are today.
